[ Proclamation No. 686, June 30, 1960 ]

DECLARING JULY 1, 1960, AS THE DATE FOR THE FORMAL ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY OF GINGOOG

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 2668, approved on June 18, 1960, created the City of Gingoog;

WHEREAS, section 88 of the said Act provides that the City of Gingoog shall be organized on such a date as may be fixed by the President of the Philippines;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the provisions of said section 88 of Republic Act No. 2668, do hereby proclaim that the formal organization of the City of Gingoog shall take place on July 1, 1960.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREFORE, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the fifteenth.
