MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 585, May 11, 1959 ] RESERVING FOR THE USE OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF JOLO, PROVINCE AND ISLAND OF SULU Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale and settlement and reserve for the use of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, under its administration, subject to private fights, if any there be, a certain parcel of the public domain situated in the municipality of Jolo, province and Island of Sulu, and more particularly described in the Bureau, of Lands Plan, Pr-1018-D; Pr-1018-D (Gepigon Sulu Boy Scout Council (B.S.P.) Playground and Drilling A parcel of land (as shown on Plan Pr-1018-D)., situated in the Poblacion, municipality of Jolo, province of Sulu, island of Jolo. Bounded on the NW., and N., along lines 1-2-3-4-5 by.Calle Muralla (18.00 meters wide); on the NE., along line 5-6 by Jolo-Taglibi Tiptipon Road (20.00 meters wide); on the SE., along line 6-7 by property of the Bureau of Telecommunications; on the SW., along lines 7-8-9 by Calle Martires (15.00 meters wide); and on the NW., along line 9-1 by Calle Muralla (18.00 meters wide). Beginning at a point marked 1 On plan, being N. 40° 53' E., 130.69 meters from B.L.L.M. 2, Jolo Town Site, thence N. 55° 09' E., 5.65 meters to point 2; thence N. 66° 20' E., 5.58 meters to point 3; thence N. 80° 51' E., 5.60 meters to point 4; thence. S. 84° 03' E., 45.60 meters to point 5; thence S. 42° 46' E., 73.18 meters to point 6; thence S. 30° 50'. W., 48.46 meters to point 7; thence N. 78° 02' W., 15.10 meters to point 8; thence N. 78° 03' W., 90.24 meters to point 9; and thence N. 40° 15' E., 88.74 meters to point 1, point of beginning; containing an area of 6,918 square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground as follows: points 1 and 5 by X on Concrete Curve of Road marked P.L.S.; points 2, 3 and 4 by P.L.S. marked on Concrete Curve; point 9 by X on Concrete Culvert marked P.L.S. and the rest by P.L.S. Cylindrical Concrete Monuments; bearings true; date of the survey, January 2-3, 1953 and executed by Cenon C. Moreno, Deputy Public Land Surveyor.
