MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 578, April 21, 1959 ] EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 687, DATED FEBRUARY 27, 1941, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE BOY SCOUTS HEADQUARTERS AND LIBRARY SITE RESERVATION, A PORTION OF THE LAND COVERED THEREBY SITUATED IN BUSINESS SECTION “C”, CITY OF BAGUIO, ISLAND OF LUZON, AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 70 OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 687, dated February 27, 1941, which established the Boy Scouts Headquarters and Library Site reservation, a portion of the land covered thereby situated in Business Section “C,” City of Baguio, Island of Luzon, and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of section 70 Of the said Act. The parcel of land hereby excluded is more particularly described as follows: “A parcel of land as shown in subdivision plan BSD of lot 76-B-2'A, BSD-51719, situated in the Business Section “C”, City of Baguio. Bounded on the north along lines 1-3 by lot 76-A, on the east along lines 3-5 by Governor Park Road 20: Meters wide; on- the southwest by lot 76-B-2-A-2 of the subdivision and on the west by Diego Silang street 15 meters wide. Begining at the point marked 1 on plan being N. 3° 07' E., 565.10 meters from Triangulation Station Happy, Baguio Townsite, thence S. 9° 00' E., 15.97 meters to point 2; thence N. 82° 01' E., 15.73 meters to point 3; thence S. 2° 04' E., 21.72 meters to point 4; thence S. 41° 30' W., 20.00 meters to point 5; thence N. 33° 59' W., 39.52 meters to point 6; thence N. 33° 50' E., 5.61 meters to point 7; thence N. 00° 34' E., 8.84 meters to point 8; thence N. 74° 41' E., 13.86 meters to point of beginning. Containing an area of 1,005 square meters, more or less. Allpoints referred to are marked on the ground as follows: Points 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 are old points, point 5 and 6 are B.
