DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 1959, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN QUEZON PROVINCE

WHEREAS, the seventieth birthday of the late Aurora Aragon Quezon, one of our outstanding women leaders, falls on February19, 1959; and

WHEREAS, the people of Quezon province, her birthplace, desire that they be given full, opportunity to celebrate her birthday anniversary with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, February 19, 1959, as a special public holiday in Quezon province.
