Subject: Creation of OP Oversight Committee that will Supervise and Coordinate all Preparatory Work Necessary to Effect the Termination of the National Centennial Commission

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 66 dated 25 January 1999 extending the period of existence of the National Centennial Commission (NCC) to April 30, 1999, to allow it additional time to complete whatever Centennial celebration or activities are left unfinished, and to submit its terminal and liquidation reports as well as turn over all finished and unfinished projects to private entities or to the Office of the President, there is hereby created in the Office of the President an Oversight Committee that will oversee and coordinate all preparatory work towards the termination of the official existence of the NCC.

The Oversight Committee shall be composed of the following:

1. SDES RAMON B. CARDENAS, Chairman
2. DES RIC TAN LEGADA, Member
3. AES JULIUS TOPACIO, Member
4. Director FLOYD GENONA, Member
5. Director REGINALD S. VELASCO, Member

The Committee shall immediately convene and undertake the preparatory work for the turnover of all finished and unfinished projects to concerned agencies, local government units, private entities, or to the Office of the President.

All agencies concerned are hereby enjoined to give the Committee their fullest cooperation.1aшphi1

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately and shall remain in force until revoked.
