MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Order No. 272, January 3, 1990 ] EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF IMPORTATION OF COMPLETELY BUILT-UP SECOND-HAND VEHICLES FOR TAXI USE AUTHORIZED UNDER MEMORANDUM ORDER No. 203, SERIES OF 1988 Upon recommendation of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and in consultation with the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), other appropriate government agencies and taxi operators, the period of importation of completely built-up second-hand motor vehicles for taxi use authorized under Memorandum Order No. 203 dated 24 November 1988, is hereby extended from 31 December 1989 to 31 December 1990, subject to such guidelines as may be promulgated by the DTI and the DOTC.
