[ Memorandum Order No. 235, May 19, 1989 ]

DESIGNATING THE SECRETARY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AS MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BOARD

WHEREAS, Section 4 of Executive Order No. 230, S. of 1987, states that: “(T)he President may, however, revise the membership of the National Economic and Development Authority Board whenever the same is deemed necessary for the effective performance of the Board’s functions thru an Administrative or Memorandum Order”;

WHEREAS, science and technology has a vital role in the economic development of our country;

IN VIEW THEREOF, the Secretary of Science and Technology is hereby designated as member of the National Economic and Development Authority Board.1aшphi1

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 19th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Nine.
