The existing office of the Presidential Assistant on Political Affairs is hereby separated from the Office of the President and all existing appropriations including that under the General Appropriations Act are hereby transferred to an independent Office of Political Affairs to be headed by a Minister with a cabinet rank.
For this purpose, the following additional positions for staff services are hereby created:
