MODIFYING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 8 DATED MARCH 18, 1986 CREATING THE PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE ON HUMAN RIGHTS.

Executive Order No. 8 dated March 18, 1986 creating the Presidential Committee on Human Rights, is hereby modified to the extent that the Committee is hereby declared a critical agency and its personnel are accordingly exempted from the application of the rules and regulations of the Office of Compensation and Position Classification. The Committee shall determine the salary rates of its regular and contractual personnel, as well as the rates of honorarium of detailed personnel. The Committee is likewise hereby exempted from the ban on capital outlays, subject to the policies and guidelines issued by the President.

This Order shall take effect immediately.1aшphi1
