AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE NATIONAL CONVENTION OF MORAL RECOVERY OFFICERS

In line with the objectives of Proclamation No. 479 dated October 7, 1994, declaring the month of November of every year as Filipino Values Month, the Moral Recovery Officers (MROs) Foundation, Inc. (MROFI), in cooperation with different government agencies, will hold a National Convention of designated MROs in government agencies on November 28, 2001, with the theme “Itaguyod, magandang pag-uugali, ipakitang marangal ang ating lipi.”

In view thereof, heads of departments and agencies of the government may authorize the attendance of one (1) designated MRO in the Annual Convention, with entitlement to the Convention fee of P650.00 and, only for those based outside of Metro Manila, travel expenses and allowances as prescribed in E.O. 248, series of 1995, chargeable against the appropriations of the agencies concerned, subject to the availability thereof and to accounting and auditing requirements, provided there will be no disruption of normal office activities/services in their respective offices by reason thereof.1âшphi1

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a complete report on their attendance in the Convention. Likewise, MROFI is requested to submit to this Office and the Civil Service Commission a general report and evaluation of the Convention, including a list, by offices, of participants therein.
