[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 255, August 25, 1970 ]

AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 205 CREATING THE FOREIGN TRADE COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the close support and cooperation of the Central Bank, the Philippine National Bank and the banking circle in general are indispensable to the implementation of the government’s foreign trade program;

WHEREAS, the heads of the Central Bank and the Philippine National Bank were not included in the original membership of the Foreign Trade Council created by Executive Order No. 205, series of 1970;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby expand the membership of the Foreign Trade Council to include the following:

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Philippines Member
The President of the Philippine National Bank Member
