[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 48, October 14, 1966 ]

AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 116, DATED SEPTEMBER 1, 1937, BY PROVIDING ADDITIONAL EXCEPTIONS THERETO

Pursuant to the provisions of Act Numbered Four Thousand One Hundred Eleven, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Executive Order No. 116, dated September 1, 1937, as amended by Executive Order No. 166, dated February 29, 1956: by inserting Exception 5, to read as follows:

“(5) Upon certification by the Secretary of National Defense, and in the interest of national security, the Armed Forces of the Philippines may repair, rebuild, service and/or manufacture, or cause to be repaired, rebuilt, serviced and/or manufactured, all machineries, vessels, aircrafts, engines, and other related equipment, the provisions of Executive Order No. 116, series of 1937, to the contrary notwithstanding.”

Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of October in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-six.ℒαwρhi৷
