AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 286, CURRENT SERIES, RECLASSIFYING ALL CHARTERED CITIES, EXCEPT MANILA, BAGUIO, AND QUEZON CITIES, SO AS TO ADJUST THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE CITY OF BASILAN

Pursuant to the provisions of section one of Republic Act Numbered Eight hundred and forty, the City of Basilan is hereby reclassified as first class, on the basis of its total revenue of One million four thousand seven hundred sixteen pesos and ninety-nine centavos (P1, 004, 716.99) during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1957, as adjusted and certified by the General Auditing Office.

This amends accordingly Executive Order No. 286, current series, insofar as the reclassification of the City of Basilan is concerned.

The reclassification herein made takes effect as of July 1, 1957.

Done in the City of Manila, this 5th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.1a⍵⍴h!1
