[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 206, October 13, 1956 ]

CREATING A JOINT COMMITTEE FOR PHILIPPINE PARTICIPATION IN THE BRUSSELS INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION OF 1958.

In order to coordinate the efforts and activities of the governmental and private agencies that will participate in the Brussels Universal Exposition of 1958, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a Joint Committee to attend to the raising of funds and the preparation of plans for the participation of the Philippines in the said exposition.

The Joint Committee shall be composed of the following:

The Secretary of Commerce and Industry Chairman
The Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Member
The Undersecretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources      "
The Director of Public Works      "
The Manager, Philippine Coconut Administration      "
The President, Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines      "
The President, Philippine Lumber Producers’ Association, Inc.      "

The funds necessary for the participation of the Philippines in the exposition shall be raised from contributions of government-owned or controlled corporations and private entities.

The Committee shall attend to other duties, besides the raising of funds and the preparation of plans, such as the construction and decoration of the pavilion, the selection, gathering, packing and shipping of exhibits and the general management of the Philippine pavilion.

The Committee is hereby authorized to appoint a Secretary and other personnel.1a⍵⍴h!1
