ORGANIZING CERTAIN PORTION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TANZA, PROVINCE OF CAVITE, INTO AN INDEPENDENT MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE NAME OF AMAYA

Upon the recommendation of the Provincial Board of Cavite and pursuant to the provisions of section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, there is hereby created in the Province of Cavite a municipality to be known as the municipality of Amaya, which shall comprise the barrios of Amaya, which shall be the seat of the municipal government, Calibuyo and Tres Cruces and the sitios, which shall hereafter be known as barrios, of Kapipisa, Carsadang Bago, Halayhay and Sampalucan, all of the municipality of Tanza.

The boundary line between the municipality of Amaya and the municipality of Tanza is as follows:

From the center of the mouth of Pandan Creek at Manila Bay, running southeasterly, following the course of the said creek upstream till it joins and follows the boundary between lots Nos. 1147 and 1144; thence in about the same direction following the boundaries between lots 1142 and 1143; 1148 and 1143; 1148 and 1141; 1150 and 1137; 1151 and 2240; 1151 and 1131; 1174 and 1131; 1174 and 1130; 1174 and 1175; 1173 and 1176; 1172 and 1176; 1272 and 1176; 1170 and 2334; 1270 and 1271; 1268 and 1271; 1267 and 1182; 1266 and 1183; 1265 and 1183; 1265 and 1185; 1261 and 1185; 1261 and 1259; 1260 and 1259; 1258 and 1259; 1254 and 1255 till it intersects the course of this creek northwesterly to Pajo Reservoir; thence following the course of a creek southward up to lot 2053; then following the north boundary of said lot No. 2053; thence following the northwest boundary of said lot No. 2051; thence S. 18° 00' E. 790 meters; Thence due south 3,100 meter till it intersects the course of a creek without name; thence following the southeast course of said creek up to the boundary line Tanza-Indang.

The municipality of Tanza shall have its present territory minus the territory comprised in the municipality of Amaya.1a⍵⍴h!1

The municipality of Amaya shall begin to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the mayor, vice-mayor, and a majority of the councilors thereof and upon certification by the Secretary of Finance or the Provincial Treasurer that the said municipality shall be capable of providing salaries and wages for all its officials and employees at no less-than the minimum rates fixed in Republic Act No. 602.
