[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 611, September 11, 1953 ]

ORGANIZING THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS OF ESPERANZA, CONCORDIA, MAYGATASAN, MAASIN, NUEVO TRABAJO, REMEDIOS, NUEVO SIBAGAT, GUADALUPE, BAKINGKING, BAYLO, BUNAGUIT, SAN LUIS, STA. INES, VERDU AND MILAGROS, ALL OF THE PROVINCE OF AGUSAN, INTO A MUNICIPALITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPALITY OF ESPERANZA

Upon the recommendation of the Congressman from Agusan, and pursuant to the provisions of section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, the municipal districts of Esperanza, Concordia, Maygatasan, Maasin, Nuevo Trabajo, Remedies, Nuevo Sibagat, Guadalupe, Ba-kingking. Baylo, Bunaguit, San Luis, Sta. Ines, Verdu and Milagros, all of the Province of Agusan, are hereby organized into a municipality to be known as the municipality of Esperanza, with the seat of government at the municipal district of Esperanza.

The municipality of Esperanza as herein organized shall begin to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the municipal mayor, vice-mayor and a majority of the councilors thereof and upon the certification by the Secretary of Finance or the Provincial Treasurer of Agusan that the said municipality is financially capable of implementing the provisions of the Minimum Wage Law.

Done in the City of Manila, this 11th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-three, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eighth.1a⍵⍴h!1
