[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 604, June 26, 1953 ]

FIXING THE BOUNDARY LINE BETWEEN THE NEWLY CREATED MUNICIPALITY OF DOŅA ALICIA AND THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TAGUM AND PANTUKAN, ALL OF THE PROVINCE OF DAVAO, AND TRANSFERRING THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAGUM FROM THE BARRIO OF HIJO TO THE BARRIO OF MAGUGPO IN THE SAME MUNICIPALITY, THEREBY AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FIVE HUNDRED NINETY-SIX DATED MAY 28, 1953, ORGANIZING THE MUNICIPALITIES OF HAGONOY, MALALAG, DOŅA ALICIA, AND BABAK

Pursuant to the provisions of section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, the following boundaries are hereby fixed: (a)Between the municipalities of Alicia and Tagum—The Hijo and the Dumlan Rivers and a straight line from the source of the latter river to the northeastern corner of the territory of the municipality of Tagum; and (b) Between the municipalities of Alicia and Pantukan—From a point on the Gulf of Davao where the boundary between the, Moro Improvement Trading Company land holding and the barrio or sitio of Bangabong meets the water of the Gulf at high tide running easterly following the said boundary to the first southeastern corner of the Moro Improvement Trading Company land holding; thence in a straight northeasterly direction to a point where the Agusan River branches into the Palmunian Creek and the Lamopau Creek.

The seat of government of the municipality of Tagum is hereby transferred from the barrio, of Hijo the legal but already abandoned seat of government of said municipality, to the barrio of Magugpo in the same municipality to which its municipal government offices were transferred temporarily in 1946.

This accordingly amends Executive Order No. 596, dated May 28, 1953.

This order shall take effect immediately.1a⍵⍴h!1
