[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 597, May 28, 1953 ]

TRANSFERRING THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT OF CAMALANIUGAN, CAGAYAN, FROM THE BARRIOS OF DUGO AND BULALA, TO THE BARRIO OF DACALLAFUGU

WHEREAS, the residents of the municipality of Camalaniugan, Cagayan, in their letter dated January 7, 1953, have petitioned, for the reasons therein specified, for the transfer of the seat of government of the said municipality from the barrios of Dugo and Bulala, designated as such under Executive Order No. 276, series of 1949, to the barrio of Dacallafugu, a place about midway between the old poblacion of Centro and the barrios of Dugo and Bulala;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Council of the same municipality in its Resolution No. 1, current series, has favorably endorsed said petition; and

WHEREAS, according to official information, no public buildings such as the municipal building, have as yet been constructed in the barrios, of Dugo and Bulala;

NOW, THEREFORE, in the interest of the public welfare and pursuant to the provisions of section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, the seat of government of the municipality of Camalaniugan is hereby transferred from the barrios of Dugo and Bulala to the barrio of Dacallafugu in the said municipality.

This transfer shall take effect immediately.

Executive Order No. 276, series of 1949 is hereby revoked.1a⍵⍴h!1
