[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 590, May 05, 1953 ]

REDUCING THE 1952 TAXES ON ALL REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF LA PAZ, DULAG, PINTUYAN, NAVAL, BONTOC, BARUGO, CALUBIAN AND PALO, ALL IN THE PROVINCE OF LEYTE.

The public interest so requiring, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 53 of Commonwealth Act No. 470, as amended by Commonwealth Act No. 534, and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Finance, do hereby remit the 50 per cent of the 1952 taxes on all real properties located in the municipalities of La Paz, Dulag, Pintuyan, Naval, Bonifoc, Barugo, Calubian and Palo, all in the Province of Leyte, on condition that all the unpaid taxes and penalties corresponding to 1951 and previous years and the remaining 50 per cent of the 1952 taxes shall be paid on or before May 31, 1953.
