[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 537, October 21, 1952 ]

REDUCING THE 1952 TAXES ON REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED ON THE WESTERN SIDE OF LACAS ROAD FROM THE BARRIO OF LACAS TO HORASAN AND FROM THE WESTERN SIDE OF CABUA-AN ROAD TO THE SEASHORE, THEN TO NAASAG AND SITIO VOLCAN WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF MAMBAJAO, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL.

The public interest so requiring, I, Elpidio Quiriho, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 53 of Commonwealth Act No. 470, as amended by Commonwealth Act No. 534, and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Finance, do hereby remit the 50 per cent of the 1952 taxes and real properties located on the western side of Lacas Road from the barrio of Lacas to Horasan and from the western side of Gabuaan Road to the seashore, then to Naasag and sitio Volcan within the jurisdiction of Mambajao, Province of Misamis Oriental, on condition that all the unpaid taxes and penalties corresponding to 1951 and previous years and the remaining 50 per cent of the 1952 taxes shall be paid on or before December 31, 1952.
