FIXING THE CEILING PRICES OF IMPORTED FOODSTUFF, REPEALING ALL OTHER EXECUTIVE ORDERS FIXING CEILING PRICES OF THE SAME AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
By virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 3 of Republic Act No. 509, entitled “AN ACT DECLARING NATIONAL POLICY, AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES FOR A LIMITED PERIOD TO FIX CEILING PRICES OF COMMODITIES AND TO PROMULGATE RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING PRICES OF COMMODITIES TO EFFECTUATE SUCH POLICY, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF A CERTAIN SUM FOR THE PURPOSE,” and upon the recommendation of the Price Administration Board, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
Section 1. The following essential commodities shall not be sold at more than the maximum selling prices for importers, wholesalers and retailers set opposite each:

Executive Order No. 331, dated July 7, 1950, Executive Order No. 343, dated August 14, 1950, Executive Order no. 352, dated October 6, 1950, Executive Order No. 353, dated October 6, 1950, Executive Order No. 360, dated November 3, 1950, Executive Order No. 369, dated November 11, 1950, Executive Order No. 370, dated November 13, 1950, Executive Order No. 381, dated December 8, 1950, Executive Order No. 382, dated December 12, 1950, Executive Order No. 403, dated January 16, 1951, Executive Order NO. 404, dated January 18, 1951, Executive Order No. 406, dated January 31, 1951, Executive Order No. 410, dated February 9, 1951, Executive Order No. 411, dated February 10, 1951, Executive Order No, 417, dated February 24, 1951, Executive Order No. 419, dated March 8, 1951, Executive Order No. 420, dated March 8, 1951, Executive Order No. 421, dated March 8, 1951, Executive Order No. 430, dated April 9, 1951, Executive Order No. 431, dated April 9, 1951, and Executive Order No. 435, dated April 24, 1951, insofar as they set up maximum ceiling prices of Imported Foodstuff, are hereby repealed by setting up new ceiling prices of Imported Foodstuff in Section 1 hereof.1âшphi1
Section 3. The ceiling prices fixed in this Order include the 7% Sales Tax and 1% Municipal Tax for Group I, and 1% Special Excise Tax on Foreign Exchange, 7% Sales Tax and 1% Municipal Tax for Group II.
Section 4. This Order shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 9th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the fifth.
