[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 436, April 26, 1951 ]

ABOLISHING THE MUNICIPALITIES OF GAMAY AND LAPINIG IN THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR AND CONSOLIDATING THEIR RESPECTIVE TERRITORIES INTO AN INDEPENDENT MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE NAME OF LAPINIG.

Pursuant to the provisions of section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, the present municipality of Gamay, created by Republic Act No. 90, and the municipality of Lapinig, created by Executive Order No. 281, dated October 13, 1949, are hereby abolished and their respective territories consolidated into an independent municipality under the name of Lapinig with the seat of government at the barrio of Lapinig. The present municipal officials of Gamay shall continue to be officials of the municipality of Lapinig created by this Order.1âшphi1

Executive Order No. 311, dated April 30, 1950, abolishing the municipality of Lapinig, is hereby superseded.

Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the fifth.
