SUSPENDING THE PROVISIONS OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 140, DATED MAY 12, 1948, ORGANIZING CERTAIN BARRIOS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LEMERY, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, INTO AN INDEPENDENT MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE NAME OF PANSIPIT

In view of the petition received from the inhabitants of the municipality of Lemery, Province of Batangas, protesting against the organization of the barrios of Balangon, Baņaga, Baņgin, Bilibinuang, Coralnamunti, Guitna, Pamiga, Panghulan, Pansipit, Pooc and Subic into an independent municipality, and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior, the organization of the new municipality of Pansipit in the manner provided under Executive Order No. 140, dated May 12, 1948, is hereby suspended.

Done in the City of Manila, this 2nd day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the second.1a⍵⍴h!1
