EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 63

REDUCING THE APPROPRIATION “FOR SALARIES AND OTHER EXPENSES OF ADVISERS AND CONSULTANTS IN FOREIGN AFFAIRS” AUTHORIZED IN REPUBLIC ACT NO. 80, ITEM D-IV-3, FROM P50,000.00 to P30,000.00, AND ALLOTING THE AMOUNT OF P20,000.00 FOR A FUND TO BE EXPENDED IN THE DISCRETION OF THE SECRETARY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

By virtue of the powers vested in me by Republic Act No. 51, I, MANUEL ROXAS, President of the Philippines, do hereby order –

1. The appropriation of ₱50,000.00  “for salaries and other expenses of advisers and consultants in foreign affairs,” authorized in Republic Act No. 80, item D-IV-3, is reduced from P50,000.00 to P30,000.00;

2. The amount of ₱20,000.00 which is available from the said reduction is allotted for the following item:

“For a fund to be expended in the discretion of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, including representation and other expenses in connection with the quartering, accommodation and entertainment of foreign delegations, dignitaries and diplomatic representatives ₱20,000.00”

3. This Order shall take effect as of April 16, 1947.1a⍵⍴h!1
