REDUCING THE REAL PROPERTY TAX ON COCONUT TREES AND ABACA PLANTS DUE FOR THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY AND REMITTING THE PENALTY OF THE FIRST INSTALLMENT OF THE TAX DUE ON ALL REAL PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY IN THE CITY OF ZAMBOANGA, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITION

The public interest so requiring, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section twenty-seven of Commonwealth Act Numbered Thirty-nine, known as the Charter of the City of Zamboanga, as amended by Commonwealth Act Numbered Two hundred and fifty, do hereby reduce by thirty per centum the real property tax due on all coconut trees and abaca plants for the calendar year nineteen hundred and forty and remit the penalty on the first installment of the tax due on all real property for the year nineteen hundred and forty in the City of Zamboanga, provided that the said first installment be paid on or before July thirty-first, nineteen hundred and forty.⌊aшΡhi⌊

Done at the City of Manila, this 8th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the fifth.
